Clara is interested in many aspects of Global Health, particularly non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and CVD. These are no longer only affecting high-income countries but also low-to-middle-income countries which are suffering a double burden of disease. She hopes to finish her master's degree and go on to do more research in the field, and eventually work with NGOs to find innovative and efficient solutions to minimize these diseases as well as poverty.

Hailing from an underprivileged area of Pakistan, Zia has developed interest in social development and associated himself with development focused projects of Shell LiveWIRE, The World Bank and IREX during undergrad studies. For over 18 months, he has worked as Research Associate health research organization named Interactive Research & Development (IRD) Pakistan and helped Maternal & Child Health team in implementing mHealth tools at Government EPI centers for real time data collection & analysis. He is planning to start his master’s studies in field of Development Economics and later on joining international development organization for evidence based solutions.

Currently, Amanda works as a Grants and Research Fellow at Transcendent Endeavors, a health technology start-up based in New York that focuses on developing products and services for underserved and limited-English proficiency populations. Her research interests are focused on exploring gender and racial disparities as well as advocacy aimed at advancing the rights of women and their access to health. She has previously conducted research on women's health topics in Uganda, Thailand, India, and Cameroon. Her professional goals include developing a variety of experience in the non-profit sector before pursuing her PhD.

Atif has been working as a Teaching Assistant since Jan-2017 at IBA Campus. He has been working with the State Bank of Pakistan and Toyota Indus Motor as a Research Associate since January 2015. He has also worked for GlaxoSmithKline (gsk)-Pakistan as an internee in Global Manufacturing and Supply-(GMS-IT) department. Being a student, Atif has always been socially active for the welfare of the society. He has worked voluntarily for Sahara trust for life, Unilever and continues to work with IBA NTHP. His interests include intellectual interaction with people of distinct backgrounds to get the quintessence of various cultures and values.
